Process Development Associate

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute towards the development optimization and implementation of scalable production processes with supervision to meet project timelines

• Perform analytical characterization of raw materials in-process components and finished products using established standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Support the design and execution of process development studies scale-up to bench/pilot scale operations and experiments to optimize analytical methods

• Assist in the technical transfer of processes or methods to the other departments including drafting clear concise SOPs and contribute to cross-functional projects

• Analyze document and present experimental results to the team while contributing to laboratory upkeep and safety activities

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline with 0-2 years of laboratory experience

• Foundational knowledge of analytical chemistry and/or cell biology principles with hands on experience working in a laboratory setting following SOPs to perform experimental procedures

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including experience presenting data to groups writing reports for broader audiences and training others

• Strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively

• Experience performing statistical analyses and interpreting experimental data; familiarity with statistical software packages as SAS JMP or MS Excel is considered an asset

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

STEMCELL determines an individuals pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience education job-related skills and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company addition to base salary STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits retirement savings and more.
