Role Description
Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for platform development aligned with business goals and user experience.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to platform teams ensuring best practices in architecture design and development.
Lead cross-functional teams of engineers architects and product managers.
Ensure platform architecture is robust scalable secure and high-performing.
Implement and maintain metrics to monitor platform performance reliability and user engagement.
Lead platform projects from planning through delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver platform solutions.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Must Have
Hands-on experience with Temenos IRIS Framework.
Experience deploying APIs.
Experience with field-level mapping on Payments or AA Products to produce Interface Requirement Documents (IRDs).
Experience in API performance tuning across integration layers.
Solid understanding of Temenos integration architecture.
Good to Have
Canadian Financial Institution (FI) experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
8 years of experience in platform development integration and management including 2 years in technical leadership.
Understanding of Canadian banking and/or payments ecosystem is an asset.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
Proficiency in Web Application and Database platforms.
Strong understanding of AWS Azure API development and microservices architecture.
Experience with multi-server environments.
Working knowledge of DevOps principles.
Experience with Splunk.
Strong technical leadership roadmap planning and stakeholder management skills.
