Plant Care Technician

Position Summary:With the direction from the Plant Care Supervisor the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who displays strong attention to detail a dedication to learning and the ability to manage change in a fast-paced work environment. The Plant Care Technician will work closely with the Plant Care Supervisor intending to a devoted area of the position requires physical demands such as reaching bending walking standing performing repetitive work and lifting to 50 lbs;Key Responsibilities:Various crop care including transplanting pottingde-leafing pruning and pinching plants;Mixing and amending soil;Installs and adjusts trellis for optimal cannabis growth and according to standard;Carefully Monitors the health of the plants for proper care; Responsible for general housekeeping of the production area;Cleans and sanitizes equipment pots trays etc. as per Health Canada standards;Organizes and maintains materials and restocks supplies when needed;Prepares reports and general documentation as required;Other duties and tasks as assigned. Skills & Qualifications:Brings focus to work quality and safety;Adaptability and strong with multitasking;Effortlessly takes direction and follows through on tasks;Capable of working both independently and on a team;Good communication skills both written and verbal;Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills;Fall arrest training would be considered an asset.
