Job Summary

Pipefitter / Steamfitter Dundas. ON

Salary: $35- $45/ per hour

Schedule: MondayFriday 7 AM3:30 PM

Rockstar Recruiting is hiring an experienced Pipefitter / Steamfitter to join our growing mechanical team in Dundas Ontario. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with mechanical piping systems can interpret drawings and blueprints and is committed to safe high-quality installation.

This position involves travelling to industrial and commercial mechanical projects throughout Ontario collaborating with a skilled team to complete installations efficiently and to a high standard. This role is responsible for installations of industrial compressors and other mechanical installation projects. The successful candidate will have experience working in black copper stainless steel and aluminum pipework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings blueprints and piping plans.
  • Install blue aluminum compressed air piping systems.
  • Install grooved and threaded piping systems.
  • Install and work with high-pressure and low-pressure piping systems.
  • Perform pipefitting and steam fitting work while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Complete rigging and material handling as required.
  • Perform ductwork installation when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the mechanical installation team on industrial projects.

What Were Looking For

  • 3 years of Pipefitter / Steamfitter experience preferred.
  • Journeyman certification or apprenticeship experience considered an asset
  • Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Hands-on experience with: grooved piping threaded piping compressed air piping
  • High- and low-pressure piping systems
  • Rigging experience
  • Ductwork installation experience is an asset.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a mechanical team.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Ontario.
