The Payroll Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries and ensures compliance with applicable laws and company role offers an opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to contribute to the smooth operation of payroll processes and ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations within a dynamic consulting firm you will doProcess payroll for 350 employees accurately and on time including calculation of wages deductions and payroll system records and employee information in compliance with confidentiality and data protection promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll taxes benefits and other related with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires terminations and changes to employee status including payroll reports and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy of payroll and submit payroll tax filings and reports in compliance with federal and provincial informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations and update payroll systems and procedures in the preparation of payroll-related financial reports and analysis as in audits of payroll records and processes ensuring compliance with company policies regulatory requirements and accounting to special project teams as identify areas for improvement and assist with the re-engineering of internal processes to improve functionality and a strong commitment to our company values of quality client focus teamwork sustainability and community integrating these principles into daily work practices and interactions with colleagues clients and stakeholdersWhat you bring to the tablePCP certification is of 5 years of progressive experience in payroll-related in Dayforce and Microsoft in Accounting Finance or related field in an of legislation and governance of payroll and employment communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional to prioritize tasks manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced to accuracy integrity and confidentiality in handling personal ConditionsThe Payroll Specialist operates within a framework of collaborative decision-making consulting with higher-level authorities to ensure adherence to best practices and timely task execution.
