Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager Supply Chain Performance & Optimization the Operations Associate delivers effective monitoring and reporting of supply chain performance while providing operational support for Credentialing services. The Operations Associate plays a key supporting role in maintaining accurate timely and reliable supply chain performance data and reporting across marine road and rail interfaces within the Prince Rupert Gateway. Working closely with the Manager this role supports the development and maintenance of dashboards analytics and performance reporting tools used to assess gateway fluidity system health and operational addition the position provides dayâtoâday administrative support and coverage for the Ports Credentialing Office ensuring continuity of port pass issuance TSC enrollment support and access control administration in alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supports the ongoing monitoring and reporting of gateway supply chain performance across marine terminal rail and road systems.
- Collects validates and maintains operational and performance data from internal systems and external stakeholders to support analytics and reporting.
- Assists in the development maintenance and refresh of performance dashboards tables charts analytics and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports the preparation of regular gateway and terminal performance reports including trend analysis and basic performance insights.
- Supports optimization initiatives and project execution including meeting scheduling notetaking budget tracking preparing documentation and completing other project tasks as needed.
- Provides operational support and coverage for the Credentialing Office including administration of port passes keys and access credentials for PRPA assets and facilities.
- Coordinates port pass issuance and administration by responding to stakeholder inquiries verifying eligibility and monitoring expiry and renewal requirements.
- Schedules and supports appointments for Transport Canada Security Clearance (TSC) applications including digital photographs fingerprinting via live scan technology and verification of required documentation.
- Provides administrative support for the Access Control Management (ACM) system including access group maintenance and assignment of authorized access.
- Supports programming and administration of alarm codes and the electronic key management system (Traka) including data management and updates.
- Processes invoices and supports billing for port pass users ensuring accurate records and timely submission to PRPAs Finance Department.
- Provides ongoing credentialing training and documentation support to designated PRPA staff to ensure continuity of credentialing services.
- Provides backup coverage for the Administrative Assistant Gateway Operations and Security Administration Support positions as required.
- Performs other assigned duties and special projects as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works predominately in an office environment.
- Regular full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
- Regular working hours are Mondays to Fridays 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Formal Education
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
Related Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in performance reporting operations support security administration or related field.

- Able to obtain security clearance under Transport Canadas Security Clearance Program.
- Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers Licence.
The base salary range for this role is $77689 - $97112. This position is eligible for a performance-based variable incentive targeted at 10% of the base salary.
