WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Experience

• A law degree.

• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

• A minimum of five (5) years experience advising entrepreneurs and startups preferably from private practice at a major Canadian law firm

• The ability to give a clear business-driven answer under time pressure and stand behind it.

• Comfort operating with autonomy. Our lawyers are independent by design and run their own mandates.

Specialized Expertise

• Assist a variety of growth companies with corporate legal services including company formation shareholders agreements private placements corporate transactions stock option plans license agreements terms and conditions of use and employment matters.

• Comfortable representing Caravel at various startup related conferences networking events and organizations.

Location

• Toronto Ontario. Remote elsewhere in Canada is also acceptable.
