Job Summary

The Office Cleaning Associate must be able to work independently and maintain an orderly environment within the facility. This role ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned to company standards and supports daily operations by performing routine and deep-cleaning tasks in accordance with all safety guidelines mandated by the employer.

Duties and responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms break rooms and common areas.
• Sweep mop vacuum and polish floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms fixtures and touchpoints.
• Perform ongoing daily cleaning and sanitization of all restroom facilities ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Conduct routine cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces throughout the facility including door handles light switches handrails countertops and shared equipment.
• Monitor cleanliness throughout the day and address spills messes or sanitation needs promptly
• Dust furniture fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean windows mirrors and glass partitions.
• Restock supplies such as soap paper towels and toilet tissue.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g. changing light bulbs).
• Report safety hazards needed repairs or maintenance issues.
• Follow all health and safety regulations including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of supplies.
• Assist with event setup or furniture rearrangement as needed.
• Other core expectations as defined by the company.

Requirements and Skills

• WHMIS Training
• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• Food Safety & Health & Safety Knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.).
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communications skills both written and oral.
• Speak English; Read English; Write English.

• Use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; bend; twist and use hands

Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a salary range of $18-21 CAD hourly commensurate with experience skills and internal addition Pure Flavor provides a competitive total rewards package that includes eligibility to participation in companys group benefit plan RRSP matching and paid time off.
