Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner Primary Care
Location: Brampton ON
Job Type: Full-Time (3040 hours/week)
Compensation: $60/hour
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Primary Care Clinic in Brampton.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Fully certified Nurse Practitioner
- Independent licence to practice in Ontario
- Previous primary care experience preferred
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assess diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide preventive care and patient education
- Complete approximately 1020 phone appointments and 1020 in-person appointments per clinic day
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
