Non-Ferrous Receiving Labourer

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiving Labourer to join our team in Quebec City.

The successful candidate will primarily participate in the receiving sorting and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is performed mainly indoors with occasional outdoor tasks as operational needs require.

This position is focused on manual labor material handling and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable active individual who is comfortable performing physical work.

What you will be responsible for:

• Welcome customers and follow established procedures;
• Unload sort inspect and handle materials;
• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;
• Weigh and organize materials;
• Prepare shipments and incoming deliveries;
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the site;
• Work safely in accordance with health and safety standards;
• Perform any other related duties supporting operations.

Qualifications :

• You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
• You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
• You are able to perform manual labor and work indoors with occasional outdoor work;
• You are in good physical condition and comfortable performing repetitive tasks;
• You are responsible punctual resourceful and committed to health and safety;
• You are a team player with strong collaboration
