Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working with advanced real-world technology Were looking for a Mining Technology Support Advisor to support and optimize our industry-leading MineStar technology suite.
Important: This is NOT a traditional IT support role.
This position is focused on mining technology systems fleet management solutions and operational technologies that directly impact performance in active mining environmentssuch as Caterpillar MineStar Fleet Terrain Command (autonomous haulage) Detect (collision avoidance) and Health equipment monitoring systems as well as related communication GPS and onboard mining technologies used across Finning-supported sites.
Schedule
12-hour shifts on a 7x7 rotation (3-rotations of day shift and 1-rotation of night shift)

Job Description:
What Youll Do
Serve as the go-to technical expert for MineStar solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and operational technology issues
Support remote deployments upgrades and integrations
Deliver training to customers and internal teams
Build strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction
Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
What You Bring
Diploma in a technical/engineering field
Experience with IT systems databases or radio communications
Exposure to mining tech (MineStar Wenco Modular) is an asset
Strong problem-solving communication and project coordination skills
Knowledge of mining operations GPS and equipment systems
