Job Summary
Transtex develops and manufactures leading-edge aerodynamic solutions that help semi-trailer fleets significantly reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Based in Montreal and operating across North America we have been driving more sustainable transportation for over twenty years.
What Youll Do
- Design and engineer practical mechanical and electromechanical solutions with manufacturability and end-user satisfaction and safety in mind.
- Plan execute and document the design build testing and prototyping of new and derivative products.
- Work directly and successfully with a team internal and external customers and suppliers.
What Were Looking For
- A university degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering combined with relevant experience in projects demanding mechanical design expertise.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the design and engineering of multi-disciplinary physical products.
- Proven ability to apply mechanical and manufacturing engineering fundamentals to successfully solve design challenges.
- Proficient with computer aided design and engineering tools (e.g. SolidWorks FEA Excel Jira).
- The ability to successfully communicate ideas visually verbally and in writing.
- Understanding of DFMEA DVP&R and root cause analysis methods.
