The Opportunity
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Calgary office.
In this role you will work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists to solve challenging problems involving advanced mechanics structural integrity finite element analysis and engineering assessment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while continuing to grow your technical expertise and professional career.

Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (.) with 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or eligible for registration
- Masters or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering
- Advanced experience using ABAQUS finite element software
- Strong understanding of linear and nonlinear finite element analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
Preferred
- Consulting engineering experience
- Experience performing structural integrity fitness-for-service or failure analysis assessments
- Experience supporting clients in energy industrial or manufacturing sectors
