Material Coordinator (12-Month Contract)

Primary Objective of the Position:

Daily Inventory control storage & shipping of Maintenance Materials in YHM.

Essential Position Functions:

• Respond quickly & efficiently to requests from Maintenance for parts & materials.
• Issue parts and tooling from maintenance database and reconcile stock as necessary.
• Shipping & Receiving of Maintenance Comat to and from Cargojet bases.
• Shipping or Delivery of Parts / Tooling to Repair shops.
• Monitor parts / tools for inventory control and shelf life.
• Deliver parts/ tooling to aircraft at various locations around the airport to support Aircraft Maintenance.
• Various other duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Work experience related to parts warehouse or material handling.
• Must be very well organized scheduled and have experience working with minimal supervision.
• Work requires a mathematical aptitude.
• Work involves data entry to Inventory database and intermediate proficiency with MS Outlook and basic proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Detail oriented excellent communication skills.
• Work experience with SAP is an asset
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workloads in a high-pressure environment.
• Able to safely lift 60 lbs. and be able to maneuver/ balance a 350 lb. Main wheel.
• Must have a valid Drivers License; must possess or qualify for valid Drivers Airside Pass.
• Good Housekeeping / Organizing skills.
• Aviation Parts experience would be a definite asset.
