What is the Opportunity

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of transmission substation and linear infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and closeout. Working closely with senior project leaders this role coordinates project activities manages contractors and consultants and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely on schedule within budget and to quality standards.

This position is ideal for a project leader looking to build experience managing increasingly complex capital projects and progress toward a senior leadership role.

What Youll Do Here:

  • Play a key role in coordinating and managing project activities across engineering procurement construction permitting and commissioning.
  • Actively support project planning budgeting scheduling risk management and performance reporting.
  • Manage contractors consultants and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements safety standards and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between technical teams operations regulators municipalities landowners and Indigenous communities.
  • Monitor project progress resolve issues and support the implementation of mitigation plans to maintain project objectives.
  • Contribute to procurement processes contract administration change management and project closeout activities.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering Construction Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Up to 5 years of project management or project coordination experience in utilities transmission substations construction or related infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organizational communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with project controls budgeting scheduling and contract administration.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings specifications and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required.

The expected pay range for this role is $95000 - $135000 per year.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors including work location education experience unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications specialized training and the complexity or scope of the role.
