Maintenance Technician
Location: Milton ON
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Shift: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM
Pay: $23.00 $24.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform all assigned tasks accurately efficiently and in accordance with the highest quality standards.
- Inspect test calibrate repair and maintain rental equipment following manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Prepare rental equipment by ensuring all required accessories calibration certificates operating manuals and documentation are complete prior to dispatch.
- Provide technical support to customers through troubleshooting equipment guidance and user training.
- Assign and update equipment asset status identification labels and tracking information.
- Inspect returned equipment to verify that all units accessories and peripherals have been received and are in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical safety inspections environmental monitoring equipment and consumable inventory.
- Coordinate with internal teams to request spare parts accessories and rental inventory required to maintain equipment availability.
- Maintain and update the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Chemical Register and review newly issued SDS documentation.
- Support the maintenance of technical manuals software libraries and equipment documentation.
- Assist team members with daily operational activities as required.
- Participate in after-hours weekend and holiday emergency support when necessary.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while complying with company health and safety policies.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the environmental services or equipment rental industry is considered an asset.
- Previous experience servicing maintaining or repairing technical or environmental equipment preferred.
- Proven experience interacting with customers and providing technical support in a professional manner.
- Excellent written verbal telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting customers across various industries.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and safe work practices.
