Maintenance Technician

Location: Milton ON

Position Type: Full-Time Permanent

Shift: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM

Pay: $23.00 $24.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform all assigned tasks accurately efficiently and in accordance with the highest quality standards.
  • Inspect test calibrate repair and maintain rental equipment following manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
  • Prepare rental equipment by ensuring all required accessories calibration certificates operating manuals and documentation are complete prior to dispatch.
  • Provide technical support to customers through troubleshooting equipment guidance and user training.
  • Assign and update equipment asset status identification labels and tracking information.
  • Inspect returned equipment to verify that all units accessories and peripherals have been received and are in proper working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical safety inspections environmental monitoring equipment and consumable inventory.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to request spare parts accessories and rental inventory required to maintain equipment availability.
  • Maintain and update the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Chemical Register and review newly issued SDS documentation.
  • Support the maintenance of technical manuals software libraries and equipment documentation.
  • Assist team members with daily operational activities as required.
  • Participate in after-hours weekend and holiday emergency support when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while complying with company health and safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the environmental services or equipment rental industry is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience servicing maintaining or repairing technical or environmental equipment preferred.
  • Proven experience interacting with customers and providing technical support in a professional manner.
  • Excellent written verbal telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting customers across various industries.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and safe work practices.
