Overview

We are looking for a LeadQAEngineer tochampion and lead quality standards acrossour Upstream Planning portfolio. This role involves mentorship supporting and leading technical decisions and ensuring adherence to best practices. The overallobjectiveis to providetechnical leadership mentor team members and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance deliverable quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead anddefine quality across theUpstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment.

• Establish and support standards andbest practicesacross the application portfolio.

• Drive the adoption of modern technologies and frameworks

• Lead and support technical decisions enforcequalitystandards and ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Test deliverables by working within agile team(s)

• Collaborate with stakeholdersidentifyrisks and proactively resolve bottlenecks.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship totesters ensuring alignment with strategy.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with guidelines.

• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 12 years of experiencein quality assuranceforenterprise software

• Strongexpertiseand experience in QA methodologies and practices

• Proven hands-on experienceusingPlaywright

• Knowledge ofAPI testingtools (Postman)

• Experience and knowledge of automated testingpractices and tools

• Knowledge ofcloud technologies

• Understandingof APIs and microservices architecture

• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.

• Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

• Proficiencyusing AI tools(Claude code GHCP)

• ExperiencetestingAI/ML workloads or agentic systems

• Knowledge ofperformance/load testing tools (JMeter)

• Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Jenkins)

• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar extensibility patterns

• Proven ability to align emerging technologies with organizational goals.

• Knowledge of upstream oil and gas domain
