Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to and promote the company safety culture
- Focus on the quality of design work in accordance with the project/Hatch procedures
- Develop a good understanding of Hatch standards and industry best practice
- Produce piping Material Take Offs (MTOs)
- Develop a good understanding of piping systems and their applications
- Design and drafting of piping/mechanical plant models using piping specifications and procedures under supervision
- Draft piping and components for P&IDs
- Develop designs using vendor drawings under supervision
- Locate and select pipe supports with piping stress analyst input
- Extract ISOs under supervision
- Produce design deliverables including P&IDs under supervision.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma equivalent diploma from an accredited institution.
- Ability to take instruction.
- Proficient in an industry standard 2D design package.
- Experience of 3D equipment modeling and 3D piping design.
- Working knowledge of piping components and materials.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
