About the Role

As a Junior Fullstack Developer (Python) you will work closely with experienced developers and product team members to contribute to real product features. You will contribute to meaningful projects while learning modern development practices tools and workflows. You will be supported by mentors who will help you develop both your technical abilities and professional skills.

WhatYoullDo

• Assistin designing coding testing and debugging software features.

• Use GenAI tools to help plan generate and test code.

• Pair-program with senior developers andparticipatein code reviews to learn best practices.

• Write andmaintainautomated tests with guidance from team members.

• Help investigate reproduce and resolve bugs under supervision.

• Participate in team rituals such as standups demos and retrospectives.

• Learn and apply modern development practices includingImplementingwith AI CI/CD containerization and monitoring.

What You Bring to the Team

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python TypeScript JavaScript PHP or similar).

• Interestin learning development tools and workflows such as Git CI/CD pipelines and Docker.

• Curiosity about current industry trends in technology performance and software development practices.

• Strong communicationskills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teammates.

• Interest in developing yourself as a full stack developer asyoullimplement in both Front-End and Back-End code.

• Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.

Location and WorkModel

This role is based in theGreater Montreal Area. AtAlayaCare our hybrid model includes set in-office collaboration days and it is expected that team members are present in the office on those days to foster connection innovation and teamwork.
