JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team at the Mississauga facility. As a Junior Project Manager you will work with our highly talented team to manage state-of-the-art and innovative projects for our customers.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES

• Coordinate engineering projects from quotation through engineering manufacturing and completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules milestones and deliverables while monitoring project progress identifying risks escalating issues appropriately and identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and delivery.
• Coordinate with Engineering Manufacturing Procurement and other internal staff to support timely project delivery.
• Serve as a primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle managing inquiries meetings updates and correspondence while communicating project timelines deliverables and changes clearly and proactively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between customers and engineering teams without independent technical design responsibility.
• Identify scope creep potential cost overruns and impacts to project margins or timelines to support customer quotations project estimates and initial financial baselines.
• Ensure component selections and requirements remain within approved Bill of Materials (BOM) and quoted limits.
• Track shipping information serial numbers documentation and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate resolution of shipping procurement manufacturing and other operational issues.
• Apply project management principles to technical projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

This position will be compensated according to qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering Technology Engineering or a related field.
• 03 years of experience in project coordination project management client/project administration operations or a related role.
• CAPM PMP or other project management certification is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Altium CAD software is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronics design is considered an asset.
• Proficiency withMicrosoft Office particularly Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Proven ability to support projects from initiation through completion including scheduling tracking deliverables monitoring budgets maintaining documentation and coordinating project activities.
• Experience managing multiple projects or competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies tools and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues before they affect project timelines or deliverables.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers technical staff clients contractors vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare project status reports meeting materials schedules budgets presentations and other project documentation.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues to the Engineering Lead.
• This role requires excellent communication organizational time-management interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
