Job Summary

Java Developer (Core Java Java 17 and above Spring Boot Spring Batch Kafka MongoDB)

Toronto ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Role Descriptions:

Microservices & APIs: Designing and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices on cloud and containerized platforms (like AWS or OpenShift/Kubernetes).

Business Logic Implementation: Directly bridging the gap between business analysts quantitative researchers and software by translating complex financial workflows (e.g. FIX protocols for trading high-throughput payment processing) into functional code.

System Performance: Working on multi-threading real-time transaction processing and optimizing latency across distributed banking systems.

Integration & Streaming: Managing data flows using streaming platforms and messaging queues like Apache Kafka and IBM MQ.

Modern Development Practices: Collaborating in Agile teams and utilizing TDD (Test-Driven Development) CI/CD pipelines (Maven Jenkins) and AI-augmented coding assistants.
