Magna Mining is growing and were looking for an IT Analyst to join our team!

Whether youre just graduating finishing up your studies or looking for your next opportunity in IT this is a chance to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in a dynamic mining environment.

Based out of our North Range operations this role involves travelling between Magnas mine sites to provide hands-on IT support. From troubleshooting everyday IT issues to setting up equipment supporting employees and getting involved in IT projects youll have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and make a difference across our operations.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll have the opportunity to:

Provide day-to-day technical support to employees with hardware software and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding including equipment setup system access and account management.
Maintain desktops laptops mobile devices printers and other IT equipment.
Assist with desktop device systems configuration and maintenance.
Monitor system performance and escalate issues when required.
Travel between Magnas mine sites to provide on-site IT support as needed.
Document IT processes procedures and troubleshooting steps.
Support compliance with company IT policies security standards and best practices.
Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the IT team.

Requirements

Who Were Looking For

Have or are working toward a diploma or degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Are interested in building your career in IT recent graduates and those graduating soon are encouraged to apply!
Have previous IT experience through employment co-op placements internships school projects or personal projects considered an asset but not required.
Enjoy troubleshooting technology and finding solutions to technical challenges.
Have knowledge of Microsoft 365 Active Directory and computer systems.
Understand basic networking concepts and IT security best practices.
Are organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Have strong communication skills and enjoy helping others with technology.
Are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Are eager to learn ask questions and take on new challenges.
Are willing and able to travel between Magnas mine sites as required.
Have experience in a mining or industrial environment considered an asset but not required.
