Dillons Contaminant Assessment & Management Discipline is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Professionalto fill an existing vacancy within our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience.

Technical & Project Management

• Train and mentor staff on Hazardous Materials Assessments
• Establish and maintain standard protocols and reporting standards for Hazardous Materials Assessments
• Technical review and risk management for hazardous materials assessment and management projects.
• Manage and coordinate projects and technical studies for a variety of environmental assignments
• Prepare and present reports and proposals
• Direct and instruct project team members including natural scientists engineers planners technologists and technical support staff
• Enhance client relationships and develop new business opportunities with both public and private sector clients

Learning and Development

• Commit to self-development ongoing learning and professional development.
• Drive continuous learning and mentor junior staff in data science and digital project delivery methodologies developing the next generation of tech-forward leaders.
• Contribute to Dillons corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Hazardous Materials Management Environmental or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience conducting all aspects of hazardous materials work and in particular large scale complex asbestos survey and abatement projects for industry and government clients.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude and commitment to technical excellence
• Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read comprehend and proof-read written reports and correspondence.

• Formal hazardous materials training
• Excellent technical knowledge of applicable regulations standards guidelines best practices and monitoring protocols related to hazardous materials.
• Strong computer and skills primarily with Microsoft Office programs.
