Job Description: Production Support Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Production Support Analyst to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will provide critical technical support for production environments ensuring system stability operational excellence and compliance with organizational standards. This role requires strong technical expertise across multiple platforms and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain production systems across Unix/Linux Windows Mainframe and containerized environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time minimizing system downtime.

Support and manage Stonebranch workflow automation and OpenShift containerized applications.

Execute and maintain SQL queries and perform database operations.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell Scripting and Python.

Respond to and resolve compliance and IT risk-related incidents.

Document production issues resolutions and maintain knowledge base articles.

Collaborate with development infrastructure and support teams to optimize system performance.

Participate in an on-call rotation to provide production support.

Required Skills & Experience

Operating Systems

Strong experience with Unix/Linux Administration including system management troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Experience in Windows Server administration and support.

Workflow & Container Platforms

Hands-on expertise with Stonebranch workflow orchestration.

Experience deploying and managing applications on OpenShift.

Mainframe

Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) and mainframe operations.

Database

Strong proficiency in SQL for querying troubleshooting and database management.

Scripting & Automation

Experience developing automation solutions using Shell Scripting and Python.

Communication & Collaboration

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compliance & Risk

Understanding of IT risk management frameworks and compliance requirements.

Experience handling compliance and audit-related production support activities.

Qualifications

8 years of experience in Production/Application Support (preferred).

Relevant certifications in Unix/Linux Windows Cloud Platforms or related technologies are desirable.

Experience supporting applications in Banking Financial Services or other regulated industries is an added advantage.
