Were looking for a Red Seal Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to join our maintenance team at our Halifax manufacturing facility. If you thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment and take pride in keeping production running safely and efficiently wed love to hear from you.

When your actions lead to success:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Repairing rebuilding and maintaining industrial machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
• Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and restoring equipment to safe operating condition.
• Diagnosing mechanical failures and implementing effective long-term solutions.
• Fabricating replacement parts using machine shop equipment when required.
• Installing relocating and commissioning production equipment.
• Modifying equipment and machine guarding to improve operational efficiency and workplace safety.
• Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Following all company safety procedures and preventative maintenance programs.

When your expertise drives us:

• Red Seal Millwright Certification.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Experience operating machine shop equipment.
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery mechanical systems hydraulics pneumatics bearings conveyors and power transmission.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Self-motivated organized and able to prioritize work effectively.
• Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts or permanent night shifts as operationally required.
