We are seekinga Business Admin for our Reginadistrict within ourCanadian Buildings Divisionthat is availablefor4 8 12 or 16 months starting in September 2026.
As a Human Resources Student you will contribute to our team by:
- Support day-to-day Accounting and HR activities gaining hands-on experience across both functions
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable including invoice entry payments and client billings
- Perform reconciliations such as bank accounts supplier statements and corporate credit cards to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and update financial and operational reports including ad hoc reporting as needed
- Assist with cost tracking and project-related expenses providing insight into how projects are managed
- Support recruitment initiatives including career fairs and student hiring coordination
- Assist with training coordination including course setup scheduling and tracking attendance
- Coordinate meetings and interviews including scheduling preparation and follow-up
- Prepare and maintain documentation correspondence and reports including confidential materials
- Provide general support to both teams through administrative tasks special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a degree/diploma of related discipline
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work with various computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality required of work assignments
- Independent and resourceful in accomplishing day-to-day tasks and assignments
