Job Description

As the HSE Manager you will provide leadership andoversight of RJ MacLeans Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) programfostering a strong culture of safety accountability and continuousimprovement. You will ensure compliance with all applicable legislationregulatory requirements and client standards while supporting safe andefficient operations.

This role is responsible for developing implementing andmaintaining the companys Health Safety and Environmental Managementinitiatives overseeing risk management audits inspections incidentinvestigations and corrective actions. The HSE Manager will lead the HSE teamprovide guidance and support to operations monitor performance and drivecontinuous improvement to protect employees subcontractors the public theenvironment and company assets.

Health Safety & Compliance

• General oversight advisement andstrategic planning for the HSE division of US and Canadian operations
• Claim and case management ofoccupational and non-occupational claims.
• Annual audit and revision ofHealth and Safety Management System
• Liaise with operations andtransportation for federal carrier and DOT compliance.
• Oversight of ISNetworldAvetta Comply Works and WCB
• Oversee subcontractorpre-qualification process.
• Maintain company programscompliance with provincial and federal regulations; COR; andclient specific.
• Hazard assessments/identifyinghazards.
• Maintain monthly statistics (KPIS)for compliance site updates and site tracker.
• Provide an annual companywidepresentation with overview from the previous yearand outlook for the upcoming year.

Operational Support

• Provide mentorship HSE staff onprojects .
• Develop site-specific safetyplans Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) and safety improvement initiatives.
• Ensure company-wide trainingrequirements are communicated tracked and maintained.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a trusted resource formanagers supervisors and employees on HSE matters.
• Lead weekly HSE team meetings andcoordinate quarterly Health and Safety Committee meetings.
• Foster a culture ofaccountability engagement and safety excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

• Represent RJ MacLeanprofessionally with clients regulators subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Support client-specific HSErequirements and participate in client meetings and audits.

What Skills and Training Do You Need

• 10 years of HSE experience in oil& gas or industrial construction.
• 5 years leading an HSE team.
• NCSO designation.
• Extensive experience with WCBCORSECOR ISN Avetta and ComplyWorks.
• Strong knowledge of transportationlegislation for federal carrier and DOT compliance.
• Strong client-facing experiencesupporting multiple worksites and contractors.
• Proven ability to develop HSEprograms mentor safety professionals and work collaboratively with operationsto achieve both safety and business objectives.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations andindustry best practices.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Practical solution-focusedapproach to problem-solving.
