Freight Handler

Midland Transport is currently seeking a reliable and safetyfocused Freight Handler to join our Moncton Temperature Facility. In this role you will be responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment as well as loading unloading sorting and handling freight in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure shipments move efficiently through our terminal while maintaining accuracy safety and high service standards.

Shifts Available:

Saturday to Wednesday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Wednesday to Sunday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Setting up the dock for efficient operations
Safely and efficiently loading and unloading freight both manually and using equipment
Communicating with other Dock Workers and supervisors to ensure safe and organized loading and unloading
Maintaining a clean functional dock and work area
Flexible to assist in other areas if required

Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma
A minimum of 2 years of relevant dock/warehouse experience
Proven forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting
Strong commitment to working safely in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate positively with others to achieve common goals
Proficient in reading and writing to complete required paperwork accurately
Efficient reliable and dedicated to maintaining high productivity
Basic math and organizational skills are required
