This position is part of a unionized bargaining hourly wage for this position is starting at 16.90 which is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidates relevant knowledge skills education and prior experience a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role whether it is the starting wage or higher will be within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.

This is a posting for an existing permanent part-time position.

Metros floral department provides a variety of vibrant fresh cut flower arrangements and seasonal house and garden plants to meet our customers needs. If you have an eye for creativity enjoy working with your hands and have a love of flowers and plants our floral department is the place for you!

General Qualifications

Prior floral experience and product knowledge is an asset
Customer service driven
Strong Communication Skills
Able to maintain cleanliness
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
