Role Overview
- We are looking for a Finance Analyst III to join the Finance team at a leading financial institution in Toronto. This role will support day-to-day business operations including FX PnL calculations trade exposure analysis and financial reporting.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting securities experience and the ability to work with large volumes of financial data. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to gain experience within a leading financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate FX PnL and exposure for trades.
- Support financial reporting and accounting activities.
- Analyze and reconcile large volumes of financial data.
- Assist with finance-related tasks and business-as-usual (BAU) activities as assigned.
- Ensure accuracy timely completion and delivery of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily finance operations and meet deadlines.
- 57 years of experience in finance accounting financial reporting or a related field.
- University degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline.
- Experience working with securities capital markets or financial services.
- Strong experience in financial reporting and accounting.
- Experience working with large volumes of financial data.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with FX PnL calculations and trade exposure analysis.
- Accounting designation (CPA) or CFA certification.
- Experience in securities operations trading or financial markets.
- Hybrid (4 days onsite and 1 day remote)
