Your work environment at EXP

In this role you will be a part of theGeotechnicalteam based inKingston ONoffice and have the opportunity to work on thevarious projects.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Executing on site concrete tests which includes casting cylinders slump test and air content tests
• Perform soil compaction tests on various construction sites
• Executing soil sampling and asphalt hot-mix sampling on site
• Some in-lab work such as testing cylinders gradation analysis proctors etc
• The technicians will interact with the on-site clients (contractors) to provide excellent service and a quick response to their testing needs
  

What your experience looks like

• Must have strong people skills and ability to work with wide variety of staff and clients
• Must be able to communicate (verbally/writing) in English for field and formal reports
• 2-5 years of experience in concrete/soils/asphalt testing experience would be advantageous
• Strong general math skills
• Diploma from an accredited Civil Technology program or equivalent would be an asset
• Must have a valid Canadian drivers license
• CCIL or ACI Certification would be preferred
  

The hourly range for this role is between$50k - $65k. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location.
