Field Applications Engineer

Hexagons Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a Field Applications Engineer - Agriculture to join our team in Canada. Reporting to the Support Manager Agriculture this role will help drive precision agriculture development forward by supporting some of the biggest names in the agricultural industry partnering with the Agricultural Sales team and ensuring customer success through technical expertise field services and positioning and autonomy solutions.

The Location:This position is based in Calgary Alberta and follows a hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering a technical discipline or an agriculture-related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time including international travel.
• Home office located near a major airport.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a technical customer support sales or similar industry role.
• Understanding of precision agriculture and GNSS technologies products and services.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Jira Python or similar tools and programming languages.
• First-hand experience with precision agriculture systems.
• Experience supporting OEM customers particularly within precision agriculture applications.
• Experience with GNSS and INS installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CAN bus and/or ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Exposure to electronics hardware integration software development or sensor fusion technologies.
• Crop production background or related agricultural experience.
