Job Summary
THE OPPORTUNITYWe have an opportunity for a Fee Administrator to join our award-winning firm in the Vancouver YOULL DOYou will work in a collaborative environment setting up fee-based accounts and client banking this role you will provide high-quality service to internal clients and advisory groups by ensuring fee and banking details are complete accurate and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements. This role reports to a people leader within the Client Services team and works closely with our Investment Advisors Assistants and other Client Services and input fees and process adjustments to fee charges Reconcile fees in accordance with fee model and structureMaintain up-to-date knowledge of fee structure model to administer account feesReview and input client banking informationEnsure standard operating procedures are followed and service level agreements are met in a fast-paced service-driven environmentDeliver client service excellence to Investment Advisors and Assistants by responding to inquiries accurately and in a timely mannerIdentify opportunities to streamline processes for operational efficiencies and collaborate with team members to document new and existing processesEngage in continuous learning and development to increase knowledge as a fee expertParticipate in cross-functional department reporting and projectsParticipate in training new and existing colleagues and assistants on fee-based accountsCOMPETENCIESAnalysis Assess quantitative and qualitative data information or situations to understand the most important details identify patterns or meaning and translate it into useful recommendations decisions or actionsCoordination Prioritize organize and manage information people assets resources messages tasks and/or activities to achieve a goal within timelinesCustomer Service Determine needs capture relevant information apply internal policy or regulation and escalate and prioritize the requests of customers to answer inquiries fulfill transactions or resolve issuesOperational Policy and Procedures Apply knowledge of the firms procedures and processes to execute work to a high standard of consistency efficiency compliance and safetyProject Management Plan coordinate execute and oversee projects balancing time resources and scope to achieve objectives support stakeholders and meet deadlinesRegulatory Knowledge Understand and apply relevant laws regulations and standards to meet legal and ethical requirements and reduce risk for clients and the firmSystems and Application Proficiency Use maintain manage or improve specific systems or applications in our role to work effectively and efficientlyKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEProven experience in serving clients in a professional services environmentInvestment industry experience in New Accounts Registered Accounts Client Services Compliance or similar function is an assetPost-secondary degree or diploma in Finance Accounting or Business is an assetExceptional attention to detail and skilled at working efficiently and accuratelyStrong organizational skills with ability to prioritize important and time-sensitive tasksSelf-starter with the capacity to work independently along with flexibility and willingness to assist othersStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work within a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to exercise good judgement and decision-making within a policy and regulatory frameworkIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365Experience with Broadridges Dataphile Pure Fees platform or similar bookkeeping system is an assetWHAT WE OFFERA culture of openness collaboration and respect is foundational to our firm.
