About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citcos core business and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industrys most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Strategic Operations is a dedicated function within Private Assets. It brings transformation delivery project execution business analysis operational initiatives and implementation support into one team reducing the delivery burden on BAU Operations and maintaining ownership from design through adoption.

The group will be split across three distinct focus areas aligned under two individual leaders:

Operating Model Product & Client Solutions: led by the Operating Model & Product leader this area will define how services should run end to end shape scalable products and solutions support complex client implementations and ensure client commitments are operationally deliverable.

Data Reporting & Platform Enablement: led by the Technology Data & Delivery leader this area will define Operations requirements for data reporting and platforms strengthen data quality and lineage and carry solutions through testing deployment and adoption.

Digital Workflow Automation & AI: also led by the Technology Data & Delivery leader this area will identify and deliver workflow automation and AI opportunities establish appropriate controls and measure whether the expected benefits are realised.

The group works in close partnership with Operations the Transformation Office IT Tactical Operations and Marquee Client teams. Roles may be permanent or approximately 12-month rotational assignments anchored in strategic locations. Rotational colleagues will join from the business help shape and deliver change and return to the line with broader project experience.



Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • You will own how we build it prove it and land it in the business with accountability for delivery standards across the whole of Strategic Operations.

  • Lead the Data Reporting & Platform Enablement and Digital Workflow Automation & AI focus areas setting priorities across the technology-enabled change agenda for Private Assets.

  • Own the business analysis and implementation discipline across all three focus areas including requirements testing standards cutover and benefits tracking so delivery quality is consistent across the group.

  • Set out Operations requirements with IT and the Transformation Office and hold the relationship through build test and deployment rather than handing over.

  • Sponsor automation and AI opportunities from identification through to deployment and measured benefit.

  • Own the data reporting and platform roadmap from an Operations perspective including data quality lineage and reporting capability.

  • Govern delivery: release planning UAT defect management deployment readiness and post-implementation review.

  • Partner with Operations to ensure change is understood trained out and genuinely adopted.

  • Build and develop the team including the rotational model and actively participate in recruitment.

  • Maintain alignment with Tactical Operations and Marquee Operations picking up solutions originating in either for wider reuse.

  • Represent Strategic Operations at Private Assets and CFS technology and delivery forums.



Qualifications

About You:

  • You have 1215 years experience in fund administration alternative asset management or a related financial services environment with substantial exposure to technology-enabled change.

  • A demonstrable record of delivering large-scale technology data or platform initiatives in a financial services setting with change that was genuinely adopted.

  • Strong understanding of private assets processes and the platform estate that supports them.

  • Credibility with technology partners able to translate operational need into technical requirement and to challenge a solution design.

  • Practical knowledge of automation digital workflow and AI and sound judgement on what is worth automating.

  • Delivery governance experience including testing strategy cutover planning and benefits realisation.

  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals including rotational colleagues joining from the business.

  • Skilled in business planning budgeting and stakeholder negotiation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and SharePoint).

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field; professional accounting designation a plus.
