For further information visit the ministry website at to the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) you will provide policy and research expertise and provide strategic advice on a broad range of policy issues that guides informs supports and represents Ministry business initiatives and policy direction. As Executive Director you will play a key strategic role in ensuring that quality mechanisms such as performance frameworks and recommendations are strategic and timely related to provincial clinical programs such as Trauma Program Childrens Health Womens Health Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation blood program along with many others.

You will build and maintain effective relationships with provincial and federal counterparts Acute Care Alberta and key clinical stakeholders as required in this position ensuring that Albertas interests and priorities are represented. You are recognized as knowledgeable and credible in interactions and relationships with health care providers and administrators private sector innovators provincially nationally and internationally. As Executive Director you will also oversee the operations of the branch and participate on the division leadership team.

Qualifications

Success in this role calls for a progressive leader with a background that includes significant related senior management leadership experience within a public sector research or complex non-governmental organizational setting. You bring demonstrated experience leading related health programs complex strategic policy and planning operational or system transformation A practiced relationship builder you excel at engaging stakeholders in shaping and implementing high impact. You possess a proven track record of provided strategic advice to senior executives and government decisions makers. Your capacity to inspire and empower change-agile teams will support you in delivering on key objectives. Related bachelors degree is required and a masters degree in health administration or health sciences is preferred.

Salary

$5896.65 - $7749.28 bi-weekly ($153902.57 - $202.256.21 annually)
