THEOPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Port Coquitlam Team as a full-timeEstimator!AsamemberofourEstimatingTeamyouwillgainpracticalknowledgeoflocalFire&.

Objectives&ResponsibilitiesoftheEstimator:

• Convertinspectionreportsintoapresentableformatforourclientsbyreviewingeditingandfinalizingdata.
• Createquotationsbasedonnoteddeficiencies/repairsontheinspectionreportsand/orworkscopes.
• Createthequotation/proposalcoverletter.
• Liaisewithsuppliersandvendorsforpricingasneeded.
• CommunicateandcoordinatewithFieldTechnicianstoverifyinformationoninspectionreportand/orworkscopetoensureQuotationsareaccurateandallencompassing.
• Followdepartmentguidelinesandmetricsasadvisedtoachievecompanystrategicgoals.
• Assistandsupportinternaldepartmentsasrequired.
• CollaboratewithAccountManagersandOperationsregardingspecialorurgentrequests.
• Communicatecriticalinformationtocolleaguespertainingtovendorsproductsequipmentpricingandcompetitors.
• Maintainclearandopenlinesofcommunicationwithinternalteammemberstocontributetoanefficientworkflowprocess.
• AdheretoandpromotethecompanyscorevaluesprocessespoliciesandOccupationalHealthandSafetyprotocols.
• Additionaldutiesastheymayarise.

Youareanenthusiasticandoptimisticindividualseekingacareerfullofgrowthandbelieveinourcorevalues;(weuseanin-houseproprietarysystem)..

Theidealcandidatewouldhavethefollowingattributesstrengthsandexperience:

• Computerliterate;confidentnavigatingvarioussoftwaresystems.
• Generalknowledgeofquotingandquotationpresentation.
• Abilitytopresenttechnicaldatainclearandsimpleterms.
• Strongattentiontodetailstrategicthinkingandanalyticalskills.
• Experienceinorgeneral/technicalknowledgeoftheFirePreventionIndustryisconsideredanasset.
• Excellenttimemanagementandtaskprioritizationskills;abilitytomanagevarioushighprioritytaskswhileplanningforandmeetingdeadlinesasneeded.
• Resourcefulnatureandabilitytothinkcritically;abletoproactivelyproblem-solveandprovidecustomercentricfocusedsolutions.
• MusthaveexcellentEnglishcommunicationskills(verbalandwritten).
