Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance repairs and troubleshooting on industrial equipment.
  • Carry out retrofitting and equipment installations.
  • Calibrate and adjust machinery and systems.
  • Identify defective components and perform repairs.
  • Manufacture complex parts when required.
  • Select appropriate materials and work methods.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Diploma in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of advanced techniques (laser alignment vibration analysis).
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment (pumps motors gearboxes machinery).
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues.
  • Experience working in industrial environments.
  • Ability to follow procedures and standards.
  • Experience with machining or CNC equipment.

Additional Information
  • The position follows a full-time schedule of 5 days per the initial training period (approximately 34 months) employee will work a combination of shifts including 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Upon successful completion of the training period the regular schedule will transition to a full-time evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Union position: selection based on seniority and qualification.
  • Candidates must pass written and practical tests.
