Electrical Maintainer

We are currently seeking a Electrical Maintainer to join our Maintenance Team in Saint John New Brunswick.

The hourly wage for this role will be $47.13

• Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial equipment controls and power distribution systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Install test and commission electrical equipment wiring conduit control panels and related systems
• Diagnose faults in PLC-controlled equipment motor control centers variable frequency drives and automated systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings schematics technical manuals and equipment specifications
• Support plant shutdowns equipment upgrades and major maintenance projects
• Partner with operations and maintenance team members to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Complete electrical work in accordance with applicable codes safety procedures and best practices including lockout requirements

• Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certification
• Journeyperson status in good standing
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
