DZ Driver (Utility Rep)

Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen in Oshawa ON is seeking a Utility Representative (DZ Driver)to join our safety conscious team!The Utility Reps operate box and vacuum trucks on open routes throughout Ontario helping ensure our customers continue to receive safe reliable and high-quality service. This position plays an important role in providing coverage for vacant routes and supporting our operations as needed.

• Safely operate DZ-licensed vehicles to deliver collect and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials including used oil and antifreeze.
• Service parts washer equipment by removing spent fluids and replenishing fresh cleaning solutions.
• Provide route coverage for vacations absences and open routes ensuring consistent and reliable customer service.
• Load unload and handle materials safely in compliance with company policies TDGA Ontario Regulation 347 and applicable environmental and safety regulations.
• Complete required transportation shipping and waste documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Manage daily routes to meet scheduled delivery and collection commitments.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional service communication and timely issue resolution.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate customer needs to the sales team.
• Work closely with dispatch operations and branch teams to ensure efficient route execution and customer satisfaction.

• Valid DZ drivers license with 12 years of driving experience preferred.
• Manual transmission experience is strongly preferred.
• Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the identified home branch.
• Clean driving record and strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships.
• Experience in environmental services hazardous waste management or a related industry is an asset.
• Physically capable of performing demanding duties in various work environments.
• Willingness to travel throughout Ontario and out of province as required.
