Job Summary
- Transport construction materials and equipment (including large diameter pipe) using a flatbed truck ensuring loads are safely secured
- Plan and navigate delivery routes through traffic tight access points and active construction sites
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and support material staging as needed
- Perform daily vehicle inspections maintain logs and ensure overall vehicle cleanliness and readiness
- Follow all safety policies use required PPE and maintain awareness in active construction zones
- Communicate and interact professionally with coworkers vendors and the public
- Support field crews with general labor tasks and other duties as assigned between deliveries
- CDL Water Truck driver loading truck with water and applying water to job site areas as needed
- Ability to safely operate work trucks and transport construction materials and equipment
- Knowledge of proper load securement and safe handling practices
- Comfortable working in high-traffic active construction environments with a strong focus on safety and detail
- Effective team player with the ability to follow directions and communicate clearly
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and project needs
- 3 years of experience driving work trucks (or similar) with a clean driving record and construction-related experience preferred
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and experience transporting materials or operating heavy equipment is a plus
- CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement.
