Distribution Warehouse Supervisor

We have marketed our lines in Canada under the Blue Streak name since the late :The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. This role involves supervising the warehouse team including setting performance goals providing training and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with other departments to meet customer needs improve processes and drive continuous improvement. The position requires leadership organizational skills and the ability to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals within the warehouse ResponsibilitiesOperationsOversee and direct the shipping team by assigning duties and responsibilities such as picking and shipping customer orders based on order for receiving incoming inventory ensuring it is accurately recorded and correctly stored in designated areas to maintain inventory overall quality and accuracy of customer-specific packaging labeling of shipments appropriate shipping paperwork and timely the effective implementation of new hire training and cross-training programs; train team members on SOPs revisions metrics and departmental departmental performance and metrics take corrective action to meet expectations and identify opportunities for continuous and maintain professional business relationships with internal departments such as Inventory Management and Customer supply inventory such as tape boxes ManagementSupervise both full-time and temporary distribution department clear goals for team members and provide regular constructive feedback ensuring individual annual performance evaluations for team a positive work environment resolve conflicts problems and concerns as they all team members are trained to safely perform their job duties including operating material handling equipment safely and without damage to products structures or all accidents and incidents investigate them and provide recommendations for corrective all team members adhere to safety protocols including proper use of protective equipment and maintaining safe working the use and maintenance of warehouse ResponsibilitiesPerform other work-related duties as required by Requirements1-3 years of supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing business sense with excellent analytical and problem-solving -motivated with the ability to take initiative and work effectively within a team in Microsoft Office; experience with JD Edwards and RF Scanners is an written and verbal communication physical demands include standing walking occasional bending/stoopingAccommodations for job applicants with disabilities will be provided upon request during the recruitment assessment selection and placement process.
