Demand Analysis Manager

Supervisory & Strategic Duties

The following duties are an overview of the primary duties and responsibilities of the Demand Analysis Manager and should not be considered an all-inclusive list:

1. Accurately updates and drives the master plan by considering capacity cost and contractual requirements.

2. Develops communicates and selects the optimal master plan that considers the trade-offs among inventory selected costs productive capacity storage and service to support increased efficiencies and reduced costs.

3. Develops the master plan that meets the demand plan and business objectives as developed through the integrated business planning process.

4. Actively plays a key role in the monthly supply reviews and supports the Integrated Business Planning processes with analysis input options and recommendations.

5. Provides guidance to the development and maintenance of finished goods inventory plans that meet defined demand and master plans.

6. Quarterly reviews analyzes and updates safety stock for finished goods.

7. Implements and enhances master plan reporting tools that communicate results and metrics that highlight areas for improvement.

8. Measures and reports key supply chain metrics that relate to master planning including production inventory service schedule adherence and schedule attainment performance.

9. Works with the Demand Planner to understand the impact of forecast consumption (variance) within a month on supply and inventory decisions.

10. Conducts stocking policy analysis through inventory analysis and manufacturing/distribution analysis as directed by the Vice President of Corporate Operations.

11. Identifies policy gaps and assists with the development and implementation of policies to support supply chain initiatives.

12. Works with supply chain and technology vendor consultants to implement and leverage master planning applications.

13. Performs other duties assignments or projects as required or assigned by Materials Planning Supervisor or Materials Planning Manager.

Tactical & Procurement Functions

1. Supports and manages the daily tactical details and issues that arise with suppliers ensuring compliance with the master plan.

2. Works with other team members to address production capacity planning finished goods procurement and material procurement driven from the master plan.

3. Processes purchase orders utilizing Company approved software and ensures requirements are met within those orders.

4. Works with Accounting to research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

5. Works with the Data Management team to ensure proper setup of Vendor Master Records and to enter price information from approved suppliers.

6. Effectively communicates and works with suppliers Customer Support Representatives and Claims Managers to resolve invoice issues vendor problems poor quality of goods performance issues and ship date issues.

7. Establishes adequate on-time delivery dates and coordinates ship dates with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery to meet production requirements while resolving over-shipments shortages and cancellations.

8. Maintains a good level of public relations with outside suppliers as well as a strong partnership with internal users.

9. Accurately enters maintains updates and participates in Company approved software improvements.

10. Follows Flair SOPs understands and acts in accordance with the companys policies and coordinates functional duties to ensure seamless operations during absences.

Safety Responsibilities

All Flair employees are required to be an active safety participant at Flair by:

1. Attending required safety training sessions

2. Reporting any accidents near misses and safety concerns to a designated safety team leader in a timely manner

3. Following the Companys work safety rules and procedures.

Food Safety Responsibilities

1. Employees shall maintain a good understanding of Flairs food safety policies GMP regulatory requirements and HACCP principles reflecting industry best practices FSSC 22000 certification scheme and relevant CTPAT minimum security criteria.

2. Employees shall report food safety non-conformities to the responsible person(s). Responsible personnel shall have defined responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.

Required Training Experience Licenses and Certifications

In addition to performing satisfactorily all of the duties and responsibilities of the position an individual in this position must possess and maintain the following knowledge skills qualifications and/or abilities:

1. Bachelors degree in related field (Business Supply Chain or Operations Management).

2. Broad-based knowledge of master planning capacity planning trade-off analysis and plant detailed scheduling as reflected in a minimum of 10 years of procurement and supply chain experience.

3. Must be able to speak read write and understand the English language at a level adequate to perform job functions.

4. Multi-lingual in Korean and Manadarin desired

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

The duties of this position generally involve sedentary office work.

Moderate physical activity is required;

Ability to lift up-to 10lbs on occasion;

Ability to stand walk stoop/bend lift and frequent repetitive motion and use of hands to finger grasp handle or feel objects tools or controls and normal vision acuity.

Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions promptly and accurately.

This position has frequent exposure to periods of high activity interruptions and high stress under demanding and occasionally adversarial conditions.

This position will be required to work periodic weekends or evenings.

This position may travel as needed to company subsidiaries as well as to suppliers.
