Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. JOB DESCRIPTION


The data analytic and insights intern will support one of the following areas of the department: GIAC Insights Revenue Insights Claims Insights Fraud or Governance and regulatory) to

  • Support Analytics Zone (AZ) users with data governance and data management activities including metadata management data onboarding documentation and compliance-related proceIdentify opportunities to improve and automate data management processes and support the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Analyze and monitor operational performance metrics identify trends and provide actionable insights to support business decision making.
  • Develop and maintain analytical datasets and databases by transforming and enhancing existing data sources to support reporting and business insights.
  • Design develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions to track key performance indicators and business outcomes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Mathematics Business Insights Statistic Analytics Data Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Coding skills and knowledge of program language such as SQL python and/or visualization tools Posit and Power BI
  • Strong analytical critical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous circumstances
  • Can perform effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Must thrive in fast paced environment and be comfortable with constant deadlines
