Cut Shop Associate

Cut Shop Associates cut countertops doors moldings and other products as needed. They are responsible for securing and maintaining all cut shop tools and equipment while maintaining a clear safety mindset.

• Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of cut shop tools saws and dust collection systems

• Communicates with customers sales associates and shippers to ensure that work orders are properly scheduled

• Ensure those entering the cut shop follow safety protocols

• Builds custom wooden items for store use and product merchandising

• Cut countertops and building materials according to customer order specifications with accuracy and minimal waste

• Safety mindset

• Carpentry/ woodworking/ building experience is preferred

• Experience using a variety of saws (table miter jig circular band) is an asset

• High attention to detail - will be required to measure and cut materials accurately and according to customer/ project specifications

• Able to work in hot cold and variable temperatures

• Heavy lifting required

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

• Provide an exceptional level of Customer Service

• Team player
