We are looking for a customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Service Writer to join our team in this role you will be the first point of contact for customers providing exceptional service at the rental counter while supporting equipment rentals sales transactions and administrative activities.
This is a fast-paced position that requires strong customer service skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting customers and internal teams.
Job Description:
What Youll Do
- Provide professional efficient and friendly customer service at the rental counter.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with equipment rentals and service inquiries.
- Promote and sell rental products and services to meet customer needs.
- Prepare rental and sales agreements accurately and efficiently.
- Process equipment returns and close rental contracts.
- Manage equipment inquiries and availability using company systems.
- Utilize purchase order systems and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Support equipment servicing activities as required.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and processed promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of available equipment and rental product offerings to help customers identify the right solutions for their projects.

- Several years of direct sales and customer service experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with computerized systems and administrative processes.
- Understanding of construction projects job site requirements and equipment applications is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment construction equipment or rental operations is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
