This includes creating and modifying bookings as well as completing various specialized tasks to ensure group customers and travel agents are served quickly and will communicate with customers in a professional courteous and friendly manner both by phone and in writing to build strong customer relationships and support customer retention and to the Group Sales Supervisor this position is based in Laval and Working ConditionsPosition: Permanent full-timeSchedule: 35 hours per week with the possibility of overtime based on business needsWhat Youll DoProcess group booking quotes against the booking system and verify accounting on with Payload Inventory or Costings when specific inventory is booking numbers with the Group Sales Representative (GSR) and hand over the file to the GSR for contract and initial invoice the group leader on the booking and obtain their contact up on payments and outstanding balances with customers and escalate collection challenges to the modifications requested by GSRs or group block seating and seat selection booking releases based on contracted bookings using final rooming invoices for booking modifications to keep customers updated on booking status and outstanding E-Docs when and adjust insurance on files as duplicate seat complimentary Elite Plus seat assignments for wedding couples and group up on pending names and dates of FIT transfer training sessions assigned by management and the Group Sales product knowledge and participate in ongoing training as product information for quick reference when current on procedural changes and with answering the call queue as email inboxes related to Coordinator file GSR vacation and manage assigned specialty groups from start to other duties as Youll NeedAt least 1 year of administrative and customer service in French and English with excellent verbal and written communication time management skills with the ability to multitask and organizational skills and attention to interacting with customers and committed to providing excellent customer communication skills including proper phone and email problem-solving to work independently while contributing to a supportive team computer skills including Microsoft Office. Experience with reservation systems is an certification is required upon hiring.*TICO / OPC CertificationTICO (Ontario) or OPC (Quebec) certification is considered an asset upon you do not hold this certification it will be required as part of your employment.
