Together we are Building A Better the Role:The Controls Engineer supports and improves automated assembly systems to increase productivity efficiency quality and equipment uptime. This role applies industrial controls expertise troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving to meet facility and customer needs. This is a midnight shift You Will Do: Maintain develop and improve automation controls systems including PLC and HMI PLC logs and shift reports to identify issues trends and opportunities for critical equipment and controls issues determine root causes and implement effective programming equipment uptime OEE error proofing and continuous improvement and implement new manufacturing and controls cross-functionally and across facilities to resolve issues and share best Team Member feedback and data to identify opportunities and improve equipment audits SOT walks and preventative activities to improve reliability and up documentation reports incident reports and updates for management and cross-functional health and safety processes and demonstrate proactive preventative safety current knowledge of controls technology and complete all required You Need To Be Successful:2 years of experience in automotive manufacturing JIT assembly or a related troubleshooting problem-solving and root-cause analysis to read and interpret electrical and engineering understanding of industrial controls systems automated assembly electronic devices and communication with Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 Siemens STEP 7 PLC programming C C# and ladder programming FANUC robots and COGNEX computer and controls troubleshooting to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments and in Points If You Have:Experience with Phoenix PC Works Interbus DeviceNet RSView or with additional manufacturing automation or controls :Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology or a related :Minimal travel requiredWhat We Offer:We believe our team members are our greatest investment which is why we offer a competitive total rewards package designed to support you at every stage of your career and life.
