Coil Bay Operator

Location: Tillsonburg ON

Fleetwood Metal Industries a division of Cleveland Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Coil Operator in our Tillsonburg Ontario Stamping Facility. The Coil Operator is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior Coil experience be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Load and unload coil trucks

• Receive and tag coil when necessary and forward to appropriate location in Coil Bay

• Load and unload dies as required

• Supply Coil Bay with materials neede
  

• Remove finished goods from each specified area

• Stack and arrange product in safe orderly manner within the warehouse

• Perform daily safety checks on forklift and maintain proper operation

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner

• Perform housekeeping duties

• Participates in continuous improvement projects (Lean)

• Responsible to manage the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment

• Abide by all Company policies including but not limited to the following: Health and Safety Environmental Quality Human Resources policies and the Employee Handbook

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to find information document relevant information and knowledge of computers
• Ability to retain information and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a stamping environment

The pay range for this role is 28/hour to 32/hour.
