CMM ProgammerOperator

Multimatic Inmet manufactures fully engineered high quality components assemblies and systems such as bumpers and chassis/body structural components for high volume vehicle manufacturers.

Multimatic Inmet is currently looking for a CMM Programmer/Operator who will be responsible for programming and measuring components on our CMM machine as well as operating other relevant equipment to ensure manufacture components are in spec.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Programming and operating a CMM using PC-DMIS software
• Conventional measuring using a range of hand equipment shadowgraph etc. (training can be provided)
• Preparing inspection reports for internal and external use
• Reporting results to relevant departments
• Assist the Quality Manager and Quality Engineers as assigned
• Works in compliance with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards
• Will work in compliance with all legislative requirements of the OHSA
• Work in a safe manner at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of advanced CMM programming experience using PC-DMIS
• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive manufacturing)
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good organization and communication skills
• Excellent problem solving techniques
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization
• Computer skills in the area of Word & Excel and other databases
