Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cloud Cost Optimization Engineer with a strong background in BFSI Public Sector or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will drive cloud efficiency initiatives and improve cost visibility across enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud cost optimization strategies across BFSI Public Sector and Telecom environments.
• Support cloud platforms serving banking systems citizen services applications OSS/BSS systems billing systems and telecom platforms.
• Analyze cloud consumption patterns and identify optimization opportunities.
• Implement rightsizing reservation and resource utilization strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to reduce cloud waste.
• Support telecom infrastructure customer platforms and 5G environments.
• Develop cloud cost dashboards KPIs and reporting frameworks.
• Improve financial accountability across cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with governance and cloud financial management standards.
• Support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Cloud Cost Optimization Engineer within BFSI Public Sector or Telecom environments.
• Experience supporting banking systems government applications OSS/BSS platforms billing systems charging platforms or telecom services.
• Strong experience with cloud cost optimization methodologies.
• Experience with Azure AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience with cloud financial management tooling.
• Understanding of governance compliance and security requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• FinOps certifications preferred.
